Fun in Four Countries tour was designed for those who wish to learn international bathing cultures, see beautiful new places, and taste local food.


We met in Frankfurt, then visited German therme in Bad Homburg, Cologne, and Aachen. We moved to Belgian City of Spa and then spent a day in the micro country of Luxembourg.


We flew to Estonia and visited the beautiful city of Tallinn, experienced the rural lake saunas and communal Soviet type banya in the resort City of Pärnu.

The tour starts. We meet in Le Meridien hotel (or similar) and get acquainted.
Dinner at Klosternof restaurant 
The first dinner of the tour is held at Klosterhof, a traditional German restaurant located at the old Carmelite monastery since 1936.

Walking Tour of Frankfurt
An optional tour to explore Frankfurt, the global hub of commerce and culture.
Bad Homburg: Taunus Therme
We arrive to Bad Homburg and attend the Taunus Therme, a famous bathing house with indoor and outdoor thermal pools, saunas, hammams in Asian-inspired setting.

We stop at the town of Königswinter and explore the Drachenburg Castle set against the breathtaking panorama of the Rhine river valley.
Arriving to Cologne
We arrive to Cologne, the home of the spectacular medieval cathedral, 30 museums, and hundreds of galleries.

Walking Tour of Cologne
An optional walking tour to learn about the history and culture of the Germany's fourth biggest city.
We visit Neptunbad, the oldest bathhouse in Cologne, featuring indoor and outdoor pools, historically European and Asian-influenced saunas, a Japanese Zen garden, sun terraces, and a restaurant.

We arrive to Aachen, a town established as a Roman settlement with a bathing complex, which later became the preferred residence of Charlemagne and a crowning place for 31 emperors of the Holy Roman Empire.

We visit Carolus Therermen, an establishment that boasts 15 saunas with different temperatures, the oriental bath with hammam, two steam baths as well as a lake in the sauna garden.

A European bathing culture trip would not be complete without at least a short stop at the place that gave the name to the type of leisure we all enjoy : A Belgian town of Spa where we will relax in Thermes de Spa
We arrive to Luxembourg, one of the smallest (and, no doubt, one of the most delightful) countries in Europe.

Dinner at Heiliggeist
The last dinner in Germany set against the backdrop of a historic building dating back to 1236. We will enjoy traditional German food and taste local wine.

A short 2-hour flight from Frankfurt will take us to Estonia, a country that combines wild nature, medieval cities, and a unique culture into a compact and charming package.

Dinner at Olde Hansa
Meeting with travelers joining us for Part 2 of the tour at the renowned medieval restaurant preparing the food in accordance with 700-year old recipes.

Walking tour of Tallinn
An optional walking tour to take in the magic of Estonian capital. 
An experience, entirely different from everything we tried in this tour so far, Estonian lake saunas will bring us closer to nature and a true spirit of communal bathing.

Located at the shore of the Baltic Sea, Pärnu is the last city we visit in our tour.

The last evening dinner in Raimond restaurant, located by the sandy beach, will conclude our tour with authentic flavors of the Nordic cuisine.
